Agoria Exhibits and Performs at Musée d’Orsay

Also in February, electronic musician and digital artist Agoria brought Le Code d’Orsay to the Musée d’Orsay in a surreal convergence of one of the world’s great, historic collections, contemporary generative art, blockchains and biology. The exhibition also featured Σ Lumina, an interactive steel sculpture co-created with Johan Lescure, which produced shadows in the shape of scannable QR codes. These codes could then be used to mint an NFT on fxhash using the Tezos blockchain. Delightfully, the work incorporated visitors’ breaths to alter the visual composition in real time. If a world-class-museum-worthy work of art wasn’t enough, Agoria also composed an original tribute to the museum, which he performed during a DJ set in its historic nave amongst ancient statues.
