Arte y Computadoras by CAYC

Held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in cooperation with the University of Minnesota Minneapolis, Arte y Computadoras (“Art and computers in Latin America”) was part of CAYC’s exhibition at the International Conference on Computers in the Humanities (ICCH). The exhibition was closely related to CAYC’s 1971 exhibition, Arte y Cibernetica. It featured work by Waldemar Cordeiro and Jaume Maymó among other Latin American computer art pioneers. The ICCH would go on to hold talks in North America biennially until 1987.
