1925
Bauhaus Weavers Revolt

Following the move to Dessau, the weaving workshop relocated to a large studio with new looms. With Georg Muche, the workshop’s master of form, lacking the knowledge to operate the new equipment, the weavers demanded Gunta Stölzl take over. The demand led to unrest throughout the school and a reexamining of the masters.
