Beeple’s Studio Shows

Since March 2023, Beeple Studios in Charleston has developed an ongoing cadence of public-facing shows that treat his practice as a lab for participative experimentation.

That spirit continued into 2025 with evening events that’s blur, like the recently opened NODE and Bright Moments, art with club-like entertainment. It’s part exhibition, performance and social gathering, pulling in both local arts groups and visitors from the crypto scene. In 2025 the schedule included shows like Bitcoin Pizza Day, CryptoPunks Meetup 2.0 and Synthetic Theatre, followed by Charleston Art Night in December.

I spoke with Beeple twice in 2025 and it struck me how the studio’s willingness to experiment with these events is now a crucial part of both his own artistic practice and where I generally see art headed with living, world-like, protocolic systems.
