City Painting by Grace C. Hertlein

This work of about 1970 to 1972 by the woman computer art pioneer would go on to inspire contemporary artist Yazid, specifically his work Hashed Cities on fxhash. City Paining also demonstrates the move in the ’70s towards computer art’s interest in more formal compositions.
