This early Paik exhibit sought to establish the television as an artistic medium. Along with another of his exhibitions at Bonino (1968), these would establish the artist as a pioneer of video art. The exhibitions would also garner Paik critical attention, especially the piece Magnet TV, which featured a TV screen distorted by a large magnet, an example of material-digital generative art.
