E.A.T. Holds Its Press Launch at Rauschenberg’s Studio

Following its first meeting in November 1966, EAT held its press launch at co-founder Robert Rauschenberg’s Manhattan studio. The meeting was attended by a variety of artists and engineers (from IBM and Bell Labs). EAT would go on to play an instrumental role in popularizing computer art and promoting technology and art, building upon their seminal 1966 exhibition, 9 Evenings.
