In February 2021, NFTs arrived on the Tezos blockchain, years in the making and just in time. Although perhaps some earlier NFTs were created as part of a November 2020 giveaway, the first Objkt.com-listed NFTs begin appearing in early February, including this piece, which may be the first Tezos NFT.

These early February pre-HEN-launch works include pieces by artists like Mario Klingemann, who minted work on Tezos in late February.
