The legendary Finnish Demoscene group released their first PC demo, GR8, an EGA sinus-scrolling demo. Sinus-scrolling is a text effect where text scrolls across a screen in the form of a wave, moving up and down while scrolling. The group, up to this point, had released its demos on the Commodore 64.
