Jesús Rafael Soto Settles in Paris

A seminal figure in the development of Kinetic Art, Soto’s arrival in Paris put him in contact with Victor Vasarely, Yaacov Agam, Jean Tinguely and others connected with the Salon des Réalités Nouvelles. The pioneer of kinetic and optical art, characterized by geometric shapes and movement, used simple shapes and colors to create visually engaging artworks, paving the way for computer-generated art.
