Light Prop for an Electric Stage by László Moholy-Nagy

One of the first electrically powered kinetic sculptures, this kinetic light sculpture is an important example of the historical lineage connecting early Lumino-Kinetic Art to Op and Kinetic art, which led to the development of digital art. Created two years after Moholy-Nagy left the Bauhaus, this piece synthesizes his experiments there, incorporating light, technology and industrial materials.
