1988
Nam June Paik Builds Media Tower for Seoul Olympics

Marking a critical moment in new media art in Asia, Korean-American Nam June Paik was commissioned to build a monumental media tower for the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Paik incorporated 1,003 TV screens into his design for the work titled The More, the Better (Dadaikseon in Korean).
