Generative Art Timeline · Chapter 10: On-Chain Era (2020s)

NFC Lisbon

In early June, the crypto-adjacent art world descended on Lisbon for its annual NFC organized by John Karp.
The experimental Web3 festival mixed talks and panels with notable performances and side events like the Glitchbox and Sasha Stiles poetry readings.
Otherwise the interesting discussions and art-related people were mostly at Arab Bank Switzerland’s Artist Villa, which hosted its own day of talks and programming. This author participated in both events, giving youtu.be and organizing a panel at the ABS Villa with Emily Xie and Feileacan McCormick from Entangled Others.
