NONOTAK Formed

Formed by Noemi Schipfer and Takami Nakamoto, NONOTAK merges the creative fields of visual arts and architecture with music. The duo specializes in light and sound installations, producing immersive and ethereal environments that challenge and envelop the viewer. Their work leverages Nakamoto’s expertise in space, light and sound, alongside Schipfer’s background in animated algorithmic visuals and geometric drawings, creating unique sensory experiences. NONOTAK’s minimalist aesthetic is influenced by architecture and optical art, yet harkens back to the predecessor of digital art, electronic art, which was largely based in lumino-kinetic sculpture.
