In July, the auction house Phillips presented this respectable online auction, curated by Georg Bak, and exhibition tracing the evolution of generative art. The event featured works from early pioneers like Vera Molnar and Herbert W. Franke, alongside contemporary artists such as Snowfro and Dmitri Cherniak. The exhibition, which traveled from Paris to London, showcased the various connections between pioneers of computational art. The exhibition did well to highlight the rich history of generative art within both traditional and NFT markets at a time when this history was less well known.
