Rituals - Venice by Aaron Penne x Boreta

In September, Aaron Penne and Boreta released this infinitely generative audiovisual artwork with Bright Moments. The project is designed to evolve over 9 million years, combining randomized processes with meditative soundscapes and visuals. The work generates unique harmonies and patterns that continually shift over time. In 2022, it won the Lumen Prize NFT Award, as the project consisted of 1,000 unique NFTs, with the first 200 minted live at Bright Moments Gallery in Venice, CA, that September. This live minting event was one of the first by Bright Moments to capture what would become its raison d'être: the ability to connect collectors and artists in a deeply personal experience, blending digital and physical spaces and permanently linking the artwork to the moment of its creation on the blockchain but also in physical space and time.
