Students Responsible for Teaching Themselves at Bauhau Weaving Workshop

Master of form Georg Muche “swore never to take a thread in his hand: He did not want to be associated with the feminine aura of weaving.” This led to Gunta Stölzl and Benita Otte taking courses at a technical school to teach their fellow classmates the technical aspects of working a loom.
