Taschen Releases On NFTs by Robert Alice

February 22nd in Paris marked the launch of Taschen’s On NFTs, an early major art historical survey of the NFT ecosystem, authored by artist and researcher Robert Alice. The book features academic essays and richly illustrated profiles of 101 key artists—many of whom were in Paris for the week—connecting NFTs to broader art history and positioning the medium within a lineage of algorithmic, conceptual and digital art. The launch came during a busy and memorable week in Parisian digital art history, which also witnessed Bright Moments and NFT Paris, with the Vera Molnár show opening at the Pompidou the following week.
