In the beginning of 2022, a nascent on-chain generative art community began to find its voice as organizations like Right Click Save, TENDER and Waiting To Be Signed joined Outland—first publishing November 30, 2021—in giving voice to artists and collectors with suddenly much to say. In 2021, these voices had been fairly insular, mostly kept to Art Blocks, fxhash and DAO Discord channels. Led by Editor-in-Chief Alex Estorick, Right Click Save is part of ClubNFT, which was founded by Jason Bailey (Artnome) and had artist Danielle King as its CFO. Together with Outland—led by Editor-in-Chief Brian Droitcour—they served as invaluable platforms for digital art’s written discourse in these critical early years.
