The spring of 1970 saw two of the first conferences dedicated to computer graphics. The first, Werkgroep voor Computers en Woord, Beeld en Geluid, took place in March in Delft and Amsterdam. The second, the International symposium Computer Graphics ‘70, took place in April at BruneI University, Uxbridge, England.
