1989
Sans lever la plume by Jean-Pierre Hébert

The artist’s first solo show was held at the Galerie Alphonse Chave and featured Hébert’s plotted work. At this time, Hébert was working independently. It was later in 1989 that he would discover SIGGRAPH and its community. He submitted work to participate in the 1989 SIGGRAPH show and went on to appear in the next seventeen in a row.
