Experimental Outdoor Exhibition of Modern Art to Challenge the Midsummer Sun by Gutai

This legendary outdoor exhibition featured radical concepts that were a decade ahead of their time. The central innovative concept that concerns generative art’s development was the direct encouragement of audience participation and interactivity. GRAV would not bring this concept to European audiences until the mid ’60s.
