Plans mobiles by Pol Bury

Plans mobiles (Mobile Planes), made from 1953 to 1955, perfectly illustrates a “new energy from the possibility of movement” in art. These reliefs of flat metal and painted wood mounted on pivots, turned by hand, serve as an important step in the development of interactive art.
