Verifying star by Donald K. Robbins

This piece by the pioneer computer artist Robbins celebrates the intricacy of geometric forms and their ability to capture nature’s inner beauty. Robbins describes the piece: “This five-pointed star is a three-pointed star, used to check out the incremental step on an incremental plotter, superimposed upon itself. The design has many straight lines at many differnt angles. It was produced on a large Gerber flatbed plotter.” Robbins would go on to be included at Cybernetic Serendipity the following year.
