Made between 1989 and 1990, the work by Monika Fleischmann and Wolfgang Strauss is described by the artists as the first artistic virtual reality installation. Participants, equipped with VPL Datagloves, could enter and explore the spaces of images by moving their feet, hands and head in Proto-Metaverse, immerse VR environment popular at the time.

The following year, the project would go on to receive the Golden Nica at the Prix Ars Electronica in 1992.
