Nordisk MobilTelefoni, The First Fully Automatic Cellular Phone System

Based on analog, first-generation technology (1G), this network was developed by Swedish Electrical engineer and inventor, Östen Mäkitalo. It served the countries of Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. The rise of mobile phone technology plays an important role in the development of NFTs and digital art. It allows for the present-day ubiquity of powerful computers and screens in our pockets, enabling us to view, purchase and even create art.
