The Venezuelan kinetic art pioneer sought to involve the viewer physically with his immense and immersive Pénétrables installations. These large works consisted of thousands of strands, hanging from above, encouraging viewers to physically interact with the work. These pieces are an important development from kinetic art to electronic art.
